5 Ways To Manifest Your Desires

Everything is made up of vibrations.

Me, you, this laptop and the chair that you are sat on.

For us to create our own reality, is create clear intentions and increase that vibrational frequency within us.

Think of it this way – you just found out that you are working the quietest shift at work.

You could potentially be working with 1 of these 2 colleagues.

One of them is miserable, always talking about negative things and moaning frequently.

The other colleague is very upbeat and positive and loves to chat.

Which colleague would you want to work with the most?

Obviously the most positive one! Because it will put you in a better mood.

This is purely because you can feel their higher vibrations and positive energy and thus are attracted to it.

The Law of Attraction is quite simple to understand once you grasp the basics.

Why WOULDN’T you start creating what YOU want to create?

All it takes is open-mindedness and willingness. What have you got to lose?

What is ‘manifesting’?

Manifestation is turning your intentions in to reality by being aligned with your Emotional Energy System.

Your emotional energy system consists of:

  • thoughts
  • feelings
  • blockages
  • beliefs
  • fears

1. Visualisation

Use all of your senses to create an in-depth visualisation of your intention.

For example:

if your intention is owning a new car, visualise the details of the looks of the car.

The silver flecks in the midnight blue paint sparkle in the sun, hitting the curves of the arches. The wheels, interior.

Feel the smooth door handle in the palm of your hand. Pull open the handle.

Smell the leather interior as you take a seat on the soft, comfy seats.

Feel the Alcantara steering wheel glide through your fingers.

As you twist the chunky key in the ignition, hear the deep rumble of the exhaust bounce off the surroundings.

Write all of this sensory information down or say it out loud.

This detail will allow yourself to enter in to an emotional state which aligns with your intentions.

2. Gratitude

Feeling gratitude is something we take for granted and rarely do. Think about the last time you were really grateful for something – isn’t that warm, buzzing feeling inside your heart just amazing?

Let’s maximize that feeling!

Start and end every day with a gratitude exercise.

Write down a list of 10 things you are grateful for.

In this list, include gratitude towards others, towards yourself, towards your material possessions and anything else you can think of.

As you are writing down this list, you will start to zero in on how much abundance you do actually have within your life – we just take it for granted a lot of the time.

Even our friends and family – we think we are grateful but when do we actually sit down and really feel, in our hearts, how amazing they are – can you imagine life without them?!

As you are showing the universe that you are grateful for your current possessions / situations, it will attract more as there is no resistance.

This practice has been proven to increase sleep quality, decrease symptoms of sickness, and increase happiness and joy (March, 2011).

If you are finding this task too tedious as a daily exercise, try to do it as many times per week as you can. Even once a week will begin to change your mentality.

3. Present Tense

When thinking or speaking about your intentions, always use present tense, as if you already have what you desire. Because you do. It already exists within you.

Allow yourself to live your ideal life in the manner that you want your life to be. Feel it! This technique is just one tool you can use in getting yourself in the feeling of “having it now”, it kind of works hand in hand with the visualisation we were discussing earlier.

You can use the gratitude exercise above to demonstrate present tense with your intentions.

For example:

I am so grateful for my confidence.

I am so grateful for having abundance of opportunity in my life.

I am so grateful for my new job.

4. Positive Attitiude

Act as if you already have what you want, act as if you already are who you want to be.

Have faith and trust that the universe will bring you what you truly desire.

Let go of any negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that no longer serve you. Listen to your higher consciousness and guidance (that soft, reassuring inner voice).

5. Don’t Be Attached To The Outcome

It’s very tempting to try to figure out when and how we will manifest things.

But the more we try to figure out how we will manifest it, the more resistance we are creating therefore pushing our desires further away rather than towards us.

There are so many realities and different timelines, we can’t possibly predict how we will obtain things. This applies to all areas of life, not just manifesting. We shouldn’t be worrying and focusing on the HOW.

Just have confidence that it IS.

If we have enough knowledge to figure out how and when things are manifested, our head would probably explode! We can’t process that amount of information so we just have to go with the flow and trust.

I’ve used these techniques myself to manifest things such as relationships and career transitions so I can tell you that it works! Try it out and be patient. Keep an eye out for synchronicities relating to your intention and any small opportunities that arise as the manifestation itself can be in the form of many opportunities.

The world is our oyster and we came here as creators.

  1. Thanks a lot for this. I felt like point number 2 and 4 (gratitude and positive thinking) are directed to me. Most times we pursue the desire we create and don’t take time to be Greatful for the ones we already have. We really need to literally take sticks daily to build into us that consciousness to be Greatful for all we have while we work together getting better.

  2. Great post you’ve got here! It really does work like how you are describing it. The only thing I’m still struggling with, sometimes you can’t choose the people you are surrounded with, you can’t always work with that one positive person, sometimes it just happens that you are working with the other negative person. How would you cope with that? I don’t want to put the term protect in here, as that would say that you are putting full responsibility outside of yourself, and I feel that we have our responsibilities as well considering how not to go into the negativity of others as well.
